COBRA TRAINING & CERTIFICATION PROGRAM

Changing rules, regulations, and court cases make COBRA compliance extremely complex. And as several well-known Fortune 500 companies have learned the hard way, improper COBRA administration can have costly results.
Our COBRA Training & Certification Program - a recipient of the "ASTD Excellence In Design" award - provides comprehensive information on the many and varied COBRA requirements and procedures.
The Program's easy-to-learn design has numerous tips, examples, and procedural recommendations that are interspersed with interactive Q and A sessions so that you are confident that you are learning and in where your strengths and weaknesses lie. Its "Bookmark" feature also lets you learn at your own pace, and gives you the ability to review previously completed material.
You can also test for a "Certified COBRA Administrator" designation and earn eight hours of PHR and SPHR re-certification credits!
Besides the basics and the new regulations, you'll also learn advanced techniques so you can: - Proactively determine Cessation Of Dependency Status and other potential Qualifying Events before you're notified or - perhaps even worse - find out after the fact
- Use Affirmative Rejection and Alternative Coverage design options to reduce health care and claims costs
- Handle Medicare, FMLA, and other coordination issues
- Know how to address region-specific HMO issues, Health Flexible Spending Accounts, and other items where new guidance was recently issued
Organizations enrolling three or more individuals also receive our Management Interface at no cost. This interface lets managers view employee progress, test scores, and any incorrectly answered test questions - great for remedial training!
The Program is also available with access to our COBRA Procedures Manual and our E-Alert update service. Our COBRA Procedures Manual is a great online resource that is fully searchable, and includes all COBRA-required forms and notices and recommended procedures.
